Progress Report: Recently finished making two legitimate wood working saw horses. FINALLY. It took many more hours than I thought, but I learned so much making these things, to include becoming very intimate with the chisels. Next up, I'm making a moveable goat shelter.
Progress Started: to begin learning how to be mildly sufficient with working with wood. I have started accumulating the tools necessary for being successful in basic carpentry. I have read a few books and have done some very small projects, but now I"m ready to take it up a notch. It is my intent to build a book shelf or two, some quality hand saw based saw horses, and most importantly some shelving and frames for aquaponics.

New Goal: Build rabbit hutches.
New Goal: Build a chicken coop.
Goal Completed: Finish building the husband's barn, Build the chicken coop, build shelves and storage in my shop, build the first greenhouse.
Then drop dead from exhaustion and beg for ice cream!
Progress Report: Built the chicken coop entirely on my own! Which on our sloped ground and me being short was a feat in itself. The chickens love it.. I then went on to my husbands barn (work shop shaped like a small barn) Equipped him with everything he wants ... shelves and benches to his measurements.. I built the greenhouse almost by myself. I needed help raising one of the several walls! I am now building benches out of pallets for the inside of it and will start working in it as soon as I get the doors done! It's been a busy summer!! Still have the patio cover to complete. Should have done it first off.. but chickens and greenhouse to
